Text-to-Lead OR Text-to-Contact

Text Anything supports text-to-lead or text-to-contact.  You can run promotional campaigns that allow your prospects to text one of your Text Anything numbers.  If the incoming message does not match up to a number in your Salesforce org, a lead will be created using the incoming phone number as lead name (since there is no other information). 

The default is text-to-lead but you can change that in the Administration tab.

Note:

  • These messages will not trigger a notification in the utility bar.  

  • To track incoming leads you will need to create a custom report. 

  • Text-to-lead leads/contacts will be identified by their lead or contact name as a phone number.
